THANK YOU FOR PUTTING YOUR HANDS TO WORK!
Thanks to everyone who participated in God’s Work. Our Hands. this September! This annual ELCA initiative brings congregations together in service, putting our faith into action as we care for our neighbors and communities. Together, you donated food and supplies for Feed the Need, benefiting the food pantries at JCCC and KU, sorted food donations at Harvesters, and packed meals with Heart to Heart International. We are grateful for the many hands that came together to serve our neighbors and make a difference throughout our community. God’s work. Our hands. Indeed!

GOOD FAITH NETWORK - COMMUNITY PROBLEMS ASSEMBLY
October 25 | 2:00 PM |Good Shepherd Catholic Church-Shawnee
Join members from Atonement and other GFN churches for the Community Problems Assembly to discuss and prioritize issues facing our community. Themes emerge from the stories shared and members will work to democratically select priorities. Please come and invite friends and neighbors as we stand together for our community. This event will take place at Good Shepherd Catholic Church (12800 W. 75th St., Shawnee, KS 66216).

About the Good Faith Network
The Good Faith Network engages with county officials and encourages action on issues of Homelessness, Affordable Housing, Eldercare and Mental Health Crisis Care - and the solutions discovered in other communities that GFN truly believes are viable for Johnson County. Atonement supports the GFN through the engagement of our members, as together along with the other 26 faith communities in the Network we seek to create lasting change in our community.
