An Advent Challenge from Your Outreach Team
Project 10❤️20 is Johnson County’s only shelter for adults who are experiencing homelessness. Adults are provided transportation to and from the shelter, a hot evening meal, and a grab-and-go breakfast in the morning. It is a safe place to sleep and to receive care, compassion, and support.

THE CHALLENGE
Atonement’s Outreach Team is offering an Advent Challenge to our congregation; we will provide up to $4,000 in matching funds for donations made for Project 10❤️20.
Make your donation by December 22 by placing your donation in the offering plate, marked “Project 1020”. You may also visit the ATONEMENT GIVING PAGE for other ways to give.
VOLUNTEERS
Project 10❤️20 works only through the hands, feet, minds, and hearts of their faithful volunteers! There are countless ways to help their Guests, whether face-to-face or behind the scenes.
Staff the Shelter: It takes a lot of people to help run the shelter from 6:00 PM-8:00 AM for four months! They need 10 volunteers each night to register guests, serve them meals and coffee, hand out personal items or clothing, and just be their friends. Learn more at www.project1020.org/get-involved.
Provide A Meal: Whether it’s your family-favorite chicken tetrazzini or your secret chili recipe, a hot meal is a big part of sheltering their Guests. Each night they need a fully prepared dinner in disposable containers by 5:30 PM on your selected night to serve around 60 Guests and Volunteers! Learn more at www.project1020.org/provide-a-meal.
